  • How long does it take to charge a vehicle?

    It depends on the power of the car battery being charged. For example, using a 7.2kW/h charger on a vehicle with a 45kW/h battery will take 6 hours and 15 minutes to fully charge.

  • How does charging work?

    After plugging the charger into the vehicle following the instructions in the owner's manual, the charging progress is indicated on the charger's display, on the car's onboard computer, and can also be monitored using the Kraper app in its OCPP version;

  • How difficult is the installation process?

    Our products are designed according to our own standards and are very easy to install. The entire installation process usually takes less than 10 minutes by a professional electrician, considering the Wall model.

  • What is the current rating of the charger?

  • Could having an electric vehicle charger at home increase my energy bill?

    Yes, to find out the cost, simply calculate the relationship between the charger's power and the price per kWh charged by the utility company.

  • How do I enable recharging?

    In the APP model, there is no need for prior authorization; simply plug and charge. In the OCPP model, it must be connected to the internet and linked to the Kraper management application; recharging is authorized via RFID Card or through the Kraper app.

  • How does the recharge charge work through the Kraper app?

    The Kraper app has a monthly usage fee, and its value varies according to the number of charging points linked to the app; the charging fees are defined by the charger owner and can be charged per charging time or kWh consumed. Payment is made directly through the Kraper app: credit, debit, or Pix (Brazilian instant payment system) linked to Mercado Pago.

  • Can I use a different app than Kraper's?

    Our chargers have the OCPP 1.6 protocol, which allows us to release their IP address for use with other management applications compatible with this technology.

  • Leaving the car plugged in will cause the car battery to become damaged?

    It all depends on the technology used in the vehicle's battery, but most cars from 2022 onwards don't have this problem. We recommend consulting your vehicle's manufacturer.
